

Hannah Albin
Hannah Albin is a choreographer and performing artist from the Bay Area, CA. She holds a B.F.A. in Dance Performance and Dance Choreography with a Minor in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. Here, she trained under the direction of Molly Lynch and Lar Lubovitch, graduating with the Dean’s Scholarship and department honors for Excellence in Dance Choreography. In 2021, she danced as a trainee with the José Limón Dance foundation under the direction of Dante Puleio performing solos in Missa Brevis and Dances for Isadora. She’s also performed as a soloist in new works by Lindsey Matheis, Joshua Manculich, and Tashara Gavin-Moorehead. She has spent her summers as a merit scholarship recipient with the Limón Dance Company, Black Label Movement, and Backhaus Dance. Hannah has choreographed dance films and stage productions for UCI, Bare Bones Dance Theater, the St. Cecelia Conservatory of Rome, and the Experimental Media Performance Lab where she was awarded the Medici Circle Scholarship for her research in the gender binary and creating living wages for dancers. Currently, Hannah performs with the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company and presents choreography across the Capital Region.
