Our Children's program is designed to develop motor coordination, to increase spatial and rhythmic awareness, and to provide a positive learning experience. Work is presented in an imaginative and age-appropriate manner. By the completion of Ballet I, children will have been introduced to ballet steps and terminology and the basics of dance. Upon graduation from the Children's Division, students are ready to move on to formal ballet technique in our Main Division. Class placement is based primarily upon age. Students must be at age indicated for their level by December 1, no exceptions.
