Julie P. Gedalecia, Director, is a performing artist and dance educator. She began her dance training at the Wayne Center for the Arts with Judith Miller and Brenda Schwinn. She also danced and studied with the Canton Ballet under Cassandra Crowley and Ina Strabrova. She graduated with a B.S. in Dance, with honors, from Skidmore College. She has worked with Capital Ballet Company, Virginia Opera, Diane Fay Dance Theater in New York City, and with choreographer Debra Fernandez on many performance projects. In addition to Saratoga City Ballet, she teaches classical technique at Skidmore College. She is an Artistic Director of the Saratoga City Ballet Company.
