About the Company
The Saratoga City Ballet Company is a not-for-profit organization providing serious dance students with opportunities to participate in professional quality productions. SCB strives for a high level of artistic achievement and to inspire and promote developing young dancers.
Dancers from the Saratoga City Ballet School are invited to audition for roles in the company's two annual productions. 2011 marks the company's 19th Nutcracker production, which has become a local favorite. The company has also mounted ballets and ballet excerpts such as Giselle, Les Sylphides, Coppelia, and Cinderella. The company also commissions local choreographers to set original pieces on the company which include contemporary and modern works.
The Saratoga City Ballet performs locally at Skidmore College Dance Theater as well as other venues around the capital region. They have appeared at area events and local organizations including:

- Teddy Bear Tea at the National Museum of Dance
- Saratoga Children's Museum
- YMCA of Saratoga
- Wesley Retirement Center
- ARC's Dressage Ball
- Saratoga Springs Victorian Street Walk
